beoaus: As Benjnz mentioned DVD regions are not a problem anymore. GST can be claimed if the TV is bought by a company. Leave your STB purchase until you are in Australia to save hassles Thanks Beoaus and Benjnz - I think these arguments are probably swaying me towards waiting until I get to Oz - I realise the culture of tax deduction is much greater

Thanks Keith - he's only gone and converted all the prices on Beoaus' list for me - what a hero. The upshot of which is that, on today's exchange rate the BV7 32 and 40 are about £500 and £300 pounds cheaper in UK but that's without the DVB-T. The 3 beolab 7 speakers are £120-220 cheaper in UK. So not sure if worth

Thanks for the price list Beoaus - haven't time to study in detail now as supposed to be working but eyeballing it looks like the BV7s might be considerably cheaper but the speakers not - will analyse more when time allows thanks again - will definitely help my decision making dylan ?the pricelist could find its way onto the website

(he will also make DVD player multi-region - apparently the only situation where they are allowed to). So, I think the only issue for me is the comparative price (apart from

Could someone help - trying to track down Australian prices for BV7 32/40 and the various BL7 speakers. We're moving later this year and I'm just working out whether best to buy here (if new BV7 arrives in time!) or wait until we get to Oz - my memory from the old website is that Australian prices are a bit more expensive - can anyone confirm
-
Do we know this for sure? Will it sync NRadio/NMusic playlists? Very frustrating if it doesn't Dylan
-
thanks Ian - 99% sure they're Mk1s. If an old PSTN base is an option then I'll probably try this first as saving up for a BV7 Jasper

Don't worry - I'll wait for a techie to come through with the thumbs up before parting with any money - had something in the back of my mind about different wavelengths being used for cordless phones in the two countries. Jasper

Thanks Lee - might start keeping an eye on australian e-bay for an old PSTN base - sounds like might be cheaper than upgrading all the phones as well. Jasper
