I never would have guessed what it was! But this goes superbly well with the Beosound! Marc
it is a rendering of beryllium oxide, molecular formula: BeO coincidentally enough, beryllium was used in earlier beo cartridges! ...and no, i am not a chemist -just a trickster!
Very well found, Jeff! Marc PS. Beryllium was used in the quadraphonic MMC6000 cantilever!
Is it from the sign outside the shops? I did have one but it went to Bellac and I think Steve sold it - with my permission. I don't suppose you bought it!
Exactly Peter! This is the B&O sign that I bought from Steve in Bellac and I am very proud to know that it has been yours... I sent you a PM in your

I had begun to post this subject into the thread named "Beogram 1602 problem" but this was too much OT to go on so I chose to dig up this old topic. I just would like to know if you can guess where my avatar comes from? Marc

Very good idea, Peter! I wrote my review but on Amazon.fr, not on the other Amazons, because you can do only if you have ordered an item. My review will be published (in French) within 48 hours. Once again this Book is really a reference work for all Beofans! Marc

The Beocentral Book arrived! I received my signed copy from Beoworld this morning and I am very happy of this. This is really an essential book for all Beocollectors and even for all simple B&O lovers. Wonderful photos, details, advices, useful tips... all that every serious collector needs. The book that we were waiting for. Cheers to Tim &
