Something like that but I seem to remember that the BM1900 circuit is slightly different. Check the tuning voltage and you will know more. Martin

Locking pin (120) goes through the platter hub axle to hold the gear wheel (119) fitted to the axle. The C-clip holds the whole thing in place, that is when the sequence wheel, the lift/lower bar etc. has all been fitted the clip goes on the protruding stub at the center of the sequence wheel. Those dreadful rivet vias. And if you place the CDX ontop a strong magnetic field like f.e. an upside down Beovox M70 (with the woofer end upwards), the muting (reed) relays will activate. Don't ask how I know. Martin

If you place a couple of fingers on the platter, is it free to bounce up and down and sideways ? And are you sure, that the rumble is only present when playing the turntable, not on any other source ? Martin

Is the Beocenter level ? Is the rumble audible physically from the deck or only from the speakers ? Martin

New belts. The maximum load on the belts are when the tapehead bridge engages and disengages so its typical to see the deck locked midcycle at exactly that point. If the motor was blocked as the belts went, there will also be a minor repair to do in the power supply (light smoke from a fusible resistor at the back of the Beocord). I can supply parts
