I wonder, since the BM5 can be used as UPNP server, does this then mean that the BM5 always will be up running? Or are there any Wake On Lan on BM5?

Thanks a lot for your reply, we will go for the BS5, now we just need to figure out how to make the "cabling" in the house. I need to be creative here ;-) In case we should need to listen to a CD, we can use the Blueray player in our BV7, that is a workaround.

...and if you don't have any problems with your current setup, you should consider NOT making the upgrade.

Buy a BS9000 in addition sounds like a pretty expensive solution..... I like technology, and have quite a lot, but the most important part is the ease of use for the family. Seems like that the BS5 does bring you something special.

Hi I have a BM5 connected to my TV, and use the N.RADIO and N.MUSIC. It works, however, my wife don't like the navigation on the TV and therefore she never listen to any of our CD's anymore. I am really considering a BS5, but a 5 mins demo at a dealer don't give me a really good impression if the use is user friendly enough for my wife

Hi I have mine connected using a cat6 HDMI extender (50 feet) and SPDIF for sound. It works fine. I dont think that composite is ok you, I use that for link, and it does not look good on my 7-55 (if I use BM5 on my link TV, then the main TV does not use the DVI output of BM5).

Hi Can any of you explain to me what the difference is between setting the position switch (corner, wall, free) and adjust the bass level of i.e. my BL2. I would like to know what specifically the switch is actually doing, other than "compensating for the placement". Thanks.

I have BL9 and a BL2, we mostly use it for movies. We had the BL2 before we got the BL9's, and we just love the rumble thta BL2 gives in the movies. Our main use is TV and movies, not music. However, I would have loved that you could customise the speaker setup even more in our TV (BV7), i.e. when using speaker 1 or 3 or 5, then the BL2 is active

Setting up the Bass..... Select an Audio source in the link room (i.e. Radio), in the Beo4 select then A.SETUP, you can on the Beo4 then select between Bass, Treble, Loudness and S.Store. Select Bass, and turn up/down for the Bass level. Find the Bass level you like, and press S.Store to save. Works fine for me.

I use vmem for my BM5, and it works for me when I press vmem outside using my Beovox 1 connect to beolink passive. In the kitchen I can choose to vmem and get the BM5 navigation (i.e. N.MUSIC or Photo) with the normal link tv quality. It is usable. To get the sound in stereo I then press AV+vmem, if I just press AV+vmem I only get the sound and no picture
