Guess I'll be buying a BV10-40 or wait for the next BV7-40. CCFT is so 20th century.

My first purchase was in 1993. It was a BeoCom 1401. It was the only thing in the San Francisco Union Square store that I could afford at the time. My first REAL purchase was made the following year. I bought an MX-5500 with floor stand, BeoCord VX-5000 and a pair of BeoLab 8000 speakers. I eventually traded up the VCR to a DVD-1 about 10 years later

Very cool, but you should try hiding the cable somehow. Then it would look like a seamless part of your system.

I've had to work at two different B&O shops as a sales clerk in order to afford any of the products new. For a brief period of time when my own business was doing well, I paid full price for an Avant, a couple of DVD-1 players, and a BeoLab 2. I've been considering a BeoVision 7 for a few years now to replace my Avant, but I just cant justify

The BeoLab 2 works great for me. I have no plans for getting rid of it or replacing it with a BL-11. I am curious to hear a BL-11 and will maybe consider purchasing one for a secondary room sound system later. The look of both subs is nice, but the BL-2 is no doubt a heavier-duty device for larger rooms.

One of my BeoLab 6000s is starting to distort under the most minimal amount of bass or when the volume is raised. Perhaps it's time to change the rubber surrounds or the entire woofer assembly. I bought them in 1996, so I guess it's well overdue.

With all of these problems on the BeoVision 10, I'm thinking that purchasing one at this time is not a good idea. I would like to see the BeoVision 7-40 share the same direct, local dimming LED backlighting as that of the BeoVision 7-55. It's ridiculous that B&O is still trying to sell an LCD television for over $9000 that has a TFT backlit
