I have been restringing the doors on a beocenter 9500 (still cant get the cd door to close all the way) when I ordered the new belts for the doors I also ordered the mute relay and a battery. Is the battery sodered in? And how sensitive to heat is the mute relay?( When I soder the new one back in) Thanks for all the help Mike P.S. I'll devote all

Graham HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I removed the trasport screws and still nuthing. If I tip the front of the lid up the door opens and closes with the lid all the way down no go. I'm soooooo close to being done. What am I doing wrong! Thanks again Mike

Silicone on a Qtip just like you said. Theirs white lube on the cd mechinisim looks old and dry. Should I clean it off? If so what should I replace it with? Mike

Graham I lubed the railes to the cd door real good. With the lid open the door slides open and closed but wen I close the top and try it the door barly moves. I have the screws in the bottem set in the transport position. Is there a trick I'm missing? It acts like its hung up on the cd gizmo(the one that goes on top of the cd) Thanks again sorry

Colin Does your 9500 play ok on channel two with the sub still hooked up? Mine does, But I want to make sure its not my sub that some how took out the right channel. How long did you run the sub before you had a proublum? Mike

Graham I just got your anser on the channel one problum, Thanks. Would the mute relay only go bad on the right speeker? Because the left one will play and mute fine. Both speekers play fine on channel two. Do you know were I can get parts? I cant find any one on line. Parts like the drive belts for the doors, The plastic channels that the glass pannels

I'm in Maryland. I'm not what tabs your refering to but I think they are ok. I'm pretty shure I dont want to take the strings off again if I dont absolutly haft to. NOT A FUN JOB. Thanks guys Mike

I cant find any sorse for parts and theres only one B&O store in the state. Help!!!! I'm looking for the drive belts for the door moters, the plastic channels that hold the glass top & bottem, a clip for the prop rod and a new battery. P.S. I had problums with both doors not oppening so I oppend it and found 3 of the 4 strings off. I got

I have a beocenter 9500 and the sliding doors dont open. I've looked at the repair manual and I think I can fix them myself. Does anyone have some pointers, tips or dont let this hapen to you they can pass along? And what kind of lube should I use in the chanels. All the help I can get is apperichiated. Thanks Mike

Jeff You said you have done the door thing. Any pointers,tips or dont let this happen to you? I have looked at the manual and it looks like something I might try. What should I use to lube the tracks? Thanks again Mike
