As I wrote above I paid 20 EUR so that seems a very fair price to me, even with damaged knob and no power supply, at least I am happy with it. And as you indicated I will try an external power supply, I also thought 1A should be more than enough (I think 500mA might be enough

I could make it fit of course, but then it might be easier to build a stabilized powersupply myself. Dillen: The knob will be a bit hard to find. I would love to be proved wrong but I think they are unique to this model and the tuning knob is the only one of that size, the others are far smaller.
