thx Martin, just figured out myself ;-) And in case you wondered where the damaged FM tuning knob has gone... fixing a picture is faster then fixing the real thing! /d1ck

see if this works... or should I post on the photos section and link (but no clue how) /d1ck

Hi iPaul, Nice to hear from you! Yes, I have the FM antenna, and not damaged! As I wrote above I paid 20 EUR so that seems a very fair price to me, even with damaged knob and no power supply, at least I am happy with it. And as you indicated I will try an external power supply, I also thought 1A should be more than enough (I think 500mA might be enough

Thx for the link Andy, I cannot use that one right away, since I have no portable radio, but a stationary on batteries. I could make it fit of course, but then it might be easier to build a stabilized powersupply myself. But I'll keep an eye on it anyway, so if the price doesnt go up too high, and the seller wants to ship to NL... /d1ck

Dillen: The knob will be a bit hard to find. I would love to be proved wrong but I think they are unique to this model and the tuning knob is the only one of that size, the others are far smaller. Maybe one of the early Beolit portables (611 DeLuxe) is close enough ? I don't sell manuals. PM to D1ck. Martin Tak Martin! I am a newbe, but I haven't

Absolutely great help Martin! Will have a closer look tonight. It'll take me a bit more time because I am not near as half technical as you guys, but interesting stuff anyway ;-) A few more questions: - would it be possible to purchase the schematics (or a copy of it)? - my FM tuning knob is damaged and I was wondering if there was a source to purchase
-
OK Peter, I will look if I find some time during the weekend to write down all I know! Thx for encouraging ;-) /d1ck
