Hopefully a quick question for BeoSound 5 / MAC gurus.....is it possible to rename the coloured playlists on the BeoSound 5 when using BeoConnect / MAC? I previously used a PC and could do this using BeoPlayer (I think) but can't work out how to do this on a MAC. Transferring music to the playlists works fine. Gavin

Thanks, I managed to find the software but only version 1.0 from versiontracker.com, it certainly worked in terms of finding hidden files but unfortunately not the missing songs files! It is curious given the files are actually on BM5 and playable but simply not visible from my MAC. One option of course is to delete all from BM5 and copy again, although

Thanks Pim, If I Cmd-I on the folders that are missing the songs the permissions show I have read & write privalages, as do the ones I can see, I assume its the permissions I should look at? Gavin

I am using BS5 / BM5 with a MAC and have succesfully transferred my music files using BeoConnect and all works fine. I was looking at some transferred files on BM-SHARES through Finder on my MAC and for a large number of artists / albums the folders are present but I cannot see any of the individuals songs within them. The music is all available to

Thank you all, Keith's suggestion has solved the problem, the good old power off / power on worked and I should have tried that in the first place! I originally only did that with the Sky+ box but not on the Avant, so thank you. I am curious to see if the using of the Beo5 was in anyway linked or coincidental, I am assuming it was the latter, but

Thanks Peter, having dug out the Sky remote I can confirm that works fine, so I can now fast forward and record again! So sounds like the STB-C is where the issue is, what would be my best next steps?

Apologies for the delay in replying Keith. Yes and no is the short answer, most functions worked with the Beo5 although this was my first use after dealer programming. The Beo5 is now back with the dealer making minor adjustments, but overall it was functoning ok, although it was "very sensitive" on some commands. By that I mean just touching

Certain commands on my Beo4 no longer work like Go and >>, which does not fast forward anymore. Have replaced batterries, checked position of the remote sensor from my Avant to the Sky+ (PACE) box and then lastly tried a new cable. This problem coincided with when I started using a Beo5. Another function that no longer works is setting a programme

Thanks Peter, it's set to option 6, which I think is the right option and how it has always been set. I'll try changing to another option and back to 6, unless that's the wrong option? I'll also try unplugging and see if that works. Gavin

Having moved my PC I've now reconnected my BeoPort box, clean installed 4.65 s/w and although when I select N.Music / N.Radio from a link room they start on my PC I get no sound in the link room. Any ideas why? Gavin
