  • Re: No sound through AUX using smartphone

So, I reply tomyself;-) Found that my MasterLink was broken (only the sound part),otherwise the MasterLink worked (since I used it for my Linkroom tv (BV7-32). I learnt that when pressing the Beo4 "PC, or AUX" activates the BeoMaster line-in/RCA for sound, were as when pressing N.Music/N.Radi/CD/Radio directly activates and sends sound using

  • No sound through AUX using smartphone

I have played around with the new BS5/BM5 software using an android smartphone (HTC Desire). I have used different DNLA (UPnP) apps, such as: 2player,Andromote, BubbleUPnP. However, there is no sound out from my Beovision8-40. The apps all find BS5 / BM5 as source and target and activates the BS5, showing covers and also which song is played (after

  • Re: BS5 sw update

Exciting software update,I have played around with the android 2playerand andromote apps, they connect with BeoMaster5 and it is possible to set the renderer to BeoSound. I have BeoMaster as audiomaster and when I use the android apps they take control of the BeoSound/BeoMaster (contolling volume, showing up in the BeoSound etc), however, I dont get

  • Re: SACD and BV8-40

Thanks for the swift reply! -I really look forward to listening on SACD using my Beo setup. -What is you opinion about the quality, or perceived listening experience of the SACD, -does it sort of add another dimension to the sound, or just improves it? (My dealer has not yet been able to demonstrate any SACD on any Beo setup, so I simply don't have

Is that enough then, just connecting the Oppo to BV8-40 using HDMI? I have

  • Re: Toddlers & B&O

Some months ago my son (at that time 2 years old) managed to open up the DVD slot in my BV7-32 (without using the Beo4, or by clicking the button underneath the screen), somehow also managed to slide it back. Later turned out the mechnics was broken and the Beo technician was surprised how the mechnics that should hold for 20 kg could be damaged by

  • Is it possible to have BeoMedia 1 and BeoMaster 5 on same ML

When I bought my BeoVision 7 I also bought a BeoMedia 1 to go with it. Then I moved that set into my spouses apartment and bought a BeoVision 8-40 and a BeoSound 5 to have in my own apartment. Now I will move into a house and I will have both my sets in that house and I of course would like to use as much of my Beo stuff as possible on the same MasterLink

  • Re: Beomedia 1, red dot

thanks for the swift reply! It seems the ML is broken, I unplugged the ML between the BV7 and the BM1 and it looks the same, so I need to find a new ML cable ;-) The BM1 is alive, which I can see since I can connect to it via the wireless network. The red dot is what I mean with standby. best regards/Jonas
