it took 5 years to find/get repaired my late 70s system: Beogram 8002, Beocord 9000, BM 8000 and the wonderful MS 150 speakers. The sound is astonishingly good. For more modern "stuff" like CDs I use the Beosystem 6500 but... there is no comparison. The warmth of the BM8000 is exceptional. It is well worth to find and restore these systems

it is possible that becoming a 21st century well recognized brand like Aston Martin worldwide has allowed B&O managers to think that it was possible to add any indecent mark up to their products for there was an economic boom out there. Now things are changing and one cannot ask stupid prices anymore for what can be seen around. B&O will have

First of all Happy New Year to you all 2007 has ended with the sale of my DVD1, Beocom 2, Beocom 2400 and the Beocom 6000 on eBay for it was necessary some good clean up. Having trimmed my B&O collection I will sit and wait until B&O will go back to good value for money. After forking thousands of pounds in 2001 I have not seen any particular

However I soon discovered it was impossible to have connected Avant, sky box and the dvd recorder

indeed it is the cloth on the front cover - nothing to do with the actual speakers I am not inclined to a DIY job for I am utterly useless and I would rather have my ears stapled to a horse than mess with my beloved MS 150 I see one can get cloth on the net but then you want the right one money is not an issue - I would love a job well done! and I do
-
I would like to know for my B&O MS 150.2 if a) can I have the black cloth on the covers for the speakers changed to a new one and b) who can do the job? Any suggestion is really really appreciated! RR

I have put an ad in the "Wanted" section of Beoworld (so far it is not showing up) and I have given myself a certain time window. After that I even consider the possibility of building one cabinet using the measurement of an original one (correction: to have _someone_ to build it for me) Peter can you give me some details/pictures that go

In my long search for the original cabinet for my Beosystem 8000 I went looking in my early 80s collection of B&O brochures and catalogues it seems that there were 2 models: the SC 80 with the "wings" covered and the SC 80/2 with a "cleaner" look in that the job of supporting the upper layer was brilliantly executed by "S"
