  • Re: Amazing stuff

We really are living in a strange parallel Beouniverse when dealers are moaning about a £2000 television being 'too cheap'. When i first thought about buying a Beovision new an MX was £1000 and a Sony was about £500. Now we're saying that it will be amazing and possibly damaging to the rest of the range if a television

  • Re: Top Gear B&O

It simply isn't true to say'most brits' don't watch Top Gear anymore. It's regularly BBC2s highest rating show by a country mile bringing in 5.4 million viewers and would get into the top ten of all television in the UK if you exclude soap operas. I think car enthusiasts may well have become tired with it but families and the general

  • Beomaster 6500 - can't hear me records!

In another post I was offering for sale a beobundle of goodies. Anyway, thought I better test it all again to make sure all is aok. So, have established the Beocord 6500 sounds fantastic. The battered old beovox 1001s sound better than i thought. The problem is the two turntables I have, namely beogram 5005 and 1203 are really quiet, like they would

so the beovox 1001s aren't as bad as my father led me to believe? He had them as rear speakers in his beomaster 4400 setup. Main speakers were massive great beovoxes that would shake the whole row of houses when he cranked his Buddy Rich albums up to eleven!

well I seriously wouldn't advise sending men in white coats around. It's the Beovox 1001s he wanted and I've just got them down from the loft covered in a very unpleasant thick layer of grey dust! White coats not appropriate! All items still available -treat it as a house clearance and make an offer - might even find some more beogoodies

Beocord 6500-seems to be working ok but the only cassette I have left is an old copy of Pink Floyd's animals and it did sound bit 'wowey' so perhaps
