OK. I have a different phone with a silver pyramid (base) and it works fine. Is there any reason another 6000 would not be able to recognize that base or be recognized by it? Are not all 6000's the same? When I try to link it to the base, it only tells me that the phone is Out of Range or its not recognized. Any idea why that would be? Thanks

Can't get a photo to load properly but...the photos I took show my base with a led light as well. It's not brushed aluminum but rather dark grey and it is just a charger.

Thanks for the reply. Take a look at this: This is what I have. It's just a charger. They really make this as complicated as the audio equipment.

Hello. I made the leap to cordless B & O without researching first. I assumed that the chargers also contained all the workings of the phone, you know, ....like a phone. I have a Beocom 6000 with the pyramid base charger but it is only a charger. Do these phones work with any base like the Beoline 1? Thanks

Thanks. You helped me out yet again. Thanks a lot.

So it's in a chain? Beomaster to Speaker 1 to speaker 2? Or Speaker 1 to Powerlink connector 1 (Left) and Speaker 2 to PL Connector 2 (Right)? Are you saying that you can do it either way?
-
Yes. The pizza boxes :-) I read that you can connect one cable to each speaker or you do it the traditional way (one cable per speaker). The 7000 has 2 Powerlink sockets 1 & 2. Do I just use them as Left and Right? I also read that you set the Left or Right setting on the speaker.

I was looking at a photo of the connectors and I believe they are different. Is there anything I need as a go between device to use the 4000's with a Beomaster? Thanks

Also, I don't see a Standby button on the MCP 5000.
