Hello all, This is the three-way version of the Beovox 2400 Type 6214. One of the pair has a dead tweeter. It's a simple, paper cone type, nothing special. Does anyone have a replacement? Thanks, Peter Normal 0

The Beomaster 4000 was B&O's most powerful receiver in 1972, at 60W per channel. Still, I don't think this one should be humming. I can feel it vibrating in my hands and it is making a very audible noise. This happens after it is switched on for a while. It doesn't seem to be putting out excessive heat. What's causing the vibration

I just picked up a pair of Beovox S35s at a flea market for 10 euros. Type 6311, but they have foam surrounds, not rubber. Not exactly rotten yet, but not much life left either. Can old foam affect sound quality, even before it's actuallly falling apart? Who can suggest a good (online) step-by-step guide to refoaming? Or are these speakers not worth

I would like to get my hands on a Beomaster 900, but how compatible is it with 'modern' auxilary components? Will it support my Thorens turntable? I see it has a tape recorder jack. Could I also hook up a CD player?

I have listened to them now. There are two pairs, all the same model but with slightly different cloth fronts. One pair sounds strange, there is definitely a problem. One of the two sounds rough and scratchy while the other is dull and muffled. Two different problems? The other pair sounds quite good. You're right, they are not as 'hi-fi'

I just picked up four 'Højttaler' speakers for almost nothing at the flea market. The label says 'Højttaler' '3-5 ohms' 'Type M'. Nothing else . They are two-way. Does anyone know anything about these? I have not had a chance to listen to them yet. There is no access to the actual speakers from the front

Here are some images: The front rim on one of the corners has been crushed inward. There are scratches and damaged corners and the veneer in general is dry. The particleboard underneath is crumbling.

I have some images. How do I upload them?
