Dear all, I am a relatively new B&O fan, and I wondered if someone could help me out with a few questions about how things work and what I'll need. I would like to connect my curtains, lighting, audio and video using a masterlink connection after seing the rather inspiring video on the B&O...

  • Re: can I connect a MASTERLINK+RJ45 cable on a switch/hub ?
Cat 6 should be enough, don't you think
Cat 6 or 7 is of no importace as long you are using the cable for analog MasterLink or PowerLink. But the layout (construction) of the cable is very important! You need a screened / shielded cable + each twisted pair...

  • MasterLink control of PVR

I have a Humax 9200 Digital Terrestrial receiver connected to an Avant with STB-C, and I can select programmes on this from a MasterLinked MX4002. However, the Humax includes a hard disk, in order to record programmes. To play these recordings on the Avant, I have to select <MENU><1> and...

  • MX4002 link aspect ratio problems

I've been trying to use MasterLink for the first time, and seem to be *almost* there. My problem is incorrect aspect ratio when displaying widescreen data from the Avant on the MX4002. The Video Master is an Avant RF VCR, with DVD1 attached to the AV port, and a Humax 9200 Digital Terrestrial box...

  • Masterlink Gateway - Connection Problem

Hello all, Earlier today I purchased a Masterlink Gateway to work with my B&O products. No manual followed, I've plugged the different cables in, connected by an ethernet cable. Lights up green - seems to be ok. But when I try to access my router configuration page to see if the Masterlink Gateway...

  • Masterlink via RJ45

I want to rewire my Masterlink system with the newer RJ45 connectors. Does anyone have the approved connection pin details for distributing Masterlink via RJ45, as there seems to be a shortage of pins on the connector to supply all the required cable links. Ron
