I agree with that. Nothing can beat the NA prices if you look from Europe. I bought a 2 years old MK3 for 2200$ shipped. With a partial wall mount. No remote.

Since you are in UK, I would compare to the prices on lifestyle Av and recommend to just start tracking similiar items on Ebay.

At the same time It will depend upon your country and how well B&O stuff holds its value in the used market - North Amercia may well be different to the UK.

I've been offered a 2nd hand Beosound 9000 MK ll (with stand) and 2 Beolab 8000 speakers for £2700. Is that a reasonable price? Many thanks.
