Items sold on EBAY " straight from Hong Kong " and heavily discounted should raise a critical eyebrow with anyone today.

I have no problem with legitimate companies manufacturing in China under licence, but I see more questionable electronic components surface as imitations, right down to copying the trademarque stamp.

I was checking these out. For the Samsng B&O one, I think there are fakes floating on ebay. They sell them for less then 30$ shipped straigt from Hong Kong.

I have had the Jensen designed Jabra for over a year and have had no issues with it. It's brilliant.
Looks great in its charger too.

I was given one of these as a Birthday present last year, and having a B&O earset which I prefer, I later ( and quietly ) gave it to my one of my sons. He said it required about one day to learn the technique of turning it on and off, and apparently it needs to be turned off manually to charge. Luxury: Not really, but it is distinctly a B&O design, and it works.

He did ask for the " loan " of an A-8 earpiece cover, stating that it helped to keep the earpiece in his ear.rather than flopping about in the wind. ( We have now learned that when your children are University students, everything needed is " a loan " ).

I would suggest the Jabra JX10 Mark II. Designed by Jensen, Bluetooth 2.0 and able to be paired to two devices simultaneously (PC and Mobile). The 420's main problem is the charger is enormous -- you can't really take it with you on a trip -- and it doesn't recharge over USB.

I am using Apples iphone headset, quality design in everway and so discreet.

Bad thing is that battery is crap, lasts two maybe three days of occasional talking.
