I've been away for the [long] weekend : lots of things happening here both good and bad !

like Ed aka Eduard is leaving us and I missed out on the draw once again !!

Hey! Whay a great job you did last night Lee, on the very first Beoworld roadshow prize draw.
Thanks to everyone who missed my contribution, I missed my own PC big style last night. I was with you all the way and managed to sneak onto Dave(King Street)'s Sony Viao a couple of times. We beamed the thread onto a big Beovision so all could follow it and I kept refreshing it.
Problem was, though, I can't work the mousey type thing on a note book, give me a proper mouse any time!
Soundproof, Dave Moulton dictated an answer to your question, and I typed out his reply but instead of clicking post, my wrist must have pressed some button or other which deleted all I had written!
Basically he said that he has protection on all his equipment, against lightning in particular, and there is no perceivable loss of quality in the sound.
Once again, congratulations to all winners and especially to you, Pierre-Michel, for winning the first prize! It sends a tingle through your body, doesn't it? I know it did for me.
As for the Dave Moulton/King Street visit, I have loads of photographs and will share them with you all next week. Suffice to say, we all had a fantastic time.
