I tried lots of different things to get rid of the rust spots ( Brasso, vinegar, Cif,etc) to no avail. Then I found under the sink this bottle of white powder called &amp;quot;Bar keepers friend&amp;quot;&lt;br /&gt;You sprinkle the powder onto a damp cloth and rub it in. &lt;br /&gt;Wow! It removed the rust spots brilliantly. Apparently it contains oxalic acid which is 10,000 times stronger than acetic acid (vinegar), alledgedly.&lt;br /&gt;My wife must have bought it some years ago, so I don&amp;#39;t know if it&amp;#39;s still available.&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
