Do I need a step-down converter to get it to 240v? Can I just lop off the plug and fit a standard plug? </p><p>We&#39;ve been without an amp for weeks now and can&#39;t take it any longer!! Any help greatly appreciated :)<br /></p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
