Just googled where B&O are and its the town next door to where i am going, I last went there 7 years ago to visit the Tatra vehicle museum in Koprivnice, which was struggling to come out of communist ideals. The Tatra factory was the town! the hospital, the schools etc. Tannoys on every lampost to keep the workers jolly.

I will see if our Czech hosts can blag me a siteseeing tour! the factory manager i'm seeing might know the factory manager at B&O both being western and western conpanies..well i can dream.

In a nutshell....no no no no ....yes! Thanks for the offer Andy could be on a deal, i,m sorry to miss the visit but work is taking to the Czech Republic next week, near Ostrava, i think the new B&O factory in near there?

If Peter's scan doesn't help, and you need to look at one for comparison, you'd be welcome any evening exept 31st (Dave Moulton's visit.)

Hi Andy, hope you are well, just got a problem with the usb port, with the pcb being surface mount technology it can be difficult see, i just need to look under a magnifying glass to ensure the tracks are correct. Somehow in transit the usb connection was dislodged? and the connectors on the usb lifted the tracking. I have tried to resolder with success initially, good for two weeks, but now my pc doesn't recognise the beoport.

There appears to be a usb control chip behind the usb socket, if i can get the pinouts i may be able solder the usb directly.

I really shouldn't have done the repair originally but hey ho! i was too eager to get the Beoport up and running!! i'm afraid thats me.

I do have the service manual but in common with most new manuals, no circuit diagram. I'll put it on site anyway!

Hi all, does anyone have a Beoport Service manual or circuit diagram, i have a burning issue i need to resolve before i have to bother the boss @ Lifestyle. I think i have been sabotagued by a neighbourly spy in Clitheroe!
