It also depends on whether they do their own work in-house or farm out to another service/repair centre (as my dealer does).</p><p>An example is my own dealer who wouldn&#39;t give me a&nbsp;price for some work I enquired about and wanted me to leave a signed&nbsp;blank cheque for them to fill in later. What is the rough cost for a service on an Avant to get this sorted.
