I see there is no easy way to clean the switches without taking the glass out first, but somehow that doesn&amp;#39;t sound very tempting...&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I do not pretend to fully understand the way that the touch panel works but there are NO switches under there which would require cleaning.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Most problems occur because the glass is loose and no longer in close proximity to the rubber tubes which form the capacitance (?) sensors.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The glass panels are easy to remove. Look under the left hand end of the glass panels and remove the two screws (one for each panel)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Now push the glass panels to the right about 1cm and they can be lifted off. The plastic channels which will probably be detached need to be stuck back to the glass. I have done this plenty of times with superglue with excellent results. Other, less experienced members have poo poo&amp;#39;d this method and prefer to use silicon mastic or double sided carpet tape. The choice is yours!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;One thing is certain. I obtained this one from a dealer and it cost me about &amp;pound;20!!!
