You can certainly run 4 speakers - the system is actually designed so it can run a houseful with the right equipment. If only speaker 2 works, either speaker one is muted (you cannot mute speaker 2) or the mute relay is stuck - a common problem! &lt;p&gt;hi girls and girls new member here with a quick question. i currently have a beomaster 5000 with 2 beovox s55 speakers, however as i have another 2 kicking around is it at all possible to run 4 speakers from the beomaster 5000? i see it has 4 sockets but only one set seem to work, any help would be great, thanks in advance.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Hi, and welcome to Beoworld.&lt;img src="http://forum.beoworld.org/emoticons/21.gif" alt="Yes -  thumbs up" /&gt; Yes, your BM5000 can run 4 speakers. Try pressing MUTE on and off a few times. You may a stuck muting relay. These only work on one pair of speakers. So that may be your problem.&lt;/p&gt;
