Good to know that Beo5 tool aloso is for free. I have installed it, but dont use it.

What I ment was that BeoFont is not a part of OpenOffice 3.0.

BeoFont is installed on your system when you install the Beo5 config programme.

Yes I´m sure Its works fine here and I use OpenOffice 3.0

Download the OpenOffice program here: http://www.openoffice.org/

Its look and work like Microsoft and are some way much better (as BeoFont )

Its free and if you dont like what your see, then just remove the program again.

Bulgarien... are you sure it's in OpenOffice?

The BeoFont on my system is directing to the Beo5 directory... and inside the font it's cleary stated that the font is exclusive to Bang & Olufsen... (so not open source)

Use the free OpenOffice software instead of Microsoft or others expensive office products.

There is af new font called; surprise "BeoFont",- also with the original "&" in B&O.

Notice that these and others "special" fonts is always for personnel use, like your own rapports, letters, or printing. Not for use on the web. Others PC´s on the web will not recognize them.

I have Beofrutiger as my font for letters! I cannot remember how I got it but it is rather a nice font. The Beo5 font is slightly different.

Thanks for that Bumble. I've been wondering about this for quite some time now and it's actually on my to-ask list. At the same time I was using Frutiger as a default font for my projects, visual identity, logo etc., but somehow it never hit me. I might have to change it now : )

Thanks for the info. Sounds very B&O..... I thought of changing to this font as a default for personal use, particularly because of the uniqueness of the "&" symbol but it would appear that the "&" is a part of the in-house derivation. Still, it is a nice font.

The Beo5 config software comes with a font file called Beofont.ttf

But I do not know if this is the same Font as the one you're talking about.

It's their own bespoke Frutiger derivative - "BeoFrutiger"; usually they use a 45/55/65 weight ranging from standard ->Roman depending on the usage.

How's that for arcane?

Does anyone know what font B&O use on thier products? I thought that it was Frutiger but the "&" symbol is not right.
