I have put a message on here previosuly, but despite kind suggestions from members at solving the problem I am none the wiser

I have a Beocenter 7000,which judges the size of the LP correctly , but usually only makes it between 50% and 60% of the way through the LP before lifting the stylus arm and returning to its original position automatically.

If I move the stylus by hand to start at a particular position it will play until the end but I have never yet got it to do one complete side of an LP.

I considered that it might be the weight sensor but have tried running it with 2p's on top to weigh it down and the same problem occurs.

I have tried, tunring off and on again - I have tried resetting all of the clocks etc so that it cannot remember any settings that might be affecting this.

Does anyone have any suggestions as it is a lovely unit, usually the lids go on these but it is in really good condition and I would love to get it going again.

Thanks

Sean,
