Is anyone using Linkplayer with the Beolab 5. My Audiomaster is a Beocenter 2.

Problem! The Speakers are turning on the Digital Input only when pressing "CD" on the Beo4....

Any Configuration ideas for this approach?

This is because CD is the only digital source that your Beomaster can send directly to the Beolab 5.

The Beoport sends the music to the Beomaster through MasterLink, which is analog.

What you could try, is connect the digital sound output of your mac directly to the digital input of your Beolab 5, and see if it turns on when you press N.MUSIC.
