As far as I am aware it only works on early BV1 and BC1 and it is not possible to re-configure it.

    Re: Beo1

As said before I have reprogrammed my Beo1 to standard Beo IR codes. So I can use it with my BV7-40 MKIII, BS9000...

All buttons are working like Beo4 buttons.

    Re: Beo1

    Stefan,

I can´t get it to work.

Would be nice to be able to use the Beo1, not just have it standing as an artpice:-)

I´m pressing Standby+Display+Stop at the same time then

pressing Stop and holding then pressing double arrow right, and release the two

    then pressing Display once

Is this the right way to do it???

    Re: Beo1

    No way...

I know this might not be the most manly thing to say, but I love you guys. I have had my Beo1 ever since my parents BV1 got stolen in 2002, and I have just had it standing as a piece of art, and even though several people have asked me if they could buy it, I have kept it because I think it is so beautiful designed. That I can actually use it again is fantastic. This has really made my evening Big Smile

At first I couldn't get it to work, because I hadn't seen the last "display" button press, but now it works fine on my Avant. I can't believe it didn't do this as standard, but that it is still capable.

Cheers guys Yes - thumbs up

    Re: Beo1

It's funny, because I couldn't get it to work at first, and I then thought about the fact that it had been standing on my cabinet for a very long time. After a battery change it worked like a charm Yes - thumbs up

    Re: Beo1

Hey how come this doesn't work for me? I've tried it three *edit:seven* times now (battery changed and everything)

    - standby+display+stop at same time

    - then hold stop and press >>

    - press display

Batteries are not flat... i'm baffled! I'm so jealous you guys got it to work! I have a BV3 and BC1 with Beosound 4, my Beo 1 doesn't work after this trick...

Does it have to be done very fast, does standby display and stop have to pressed in order..?

    try:

    press standby keep holding it

    press display keep holding it

    press stop keep holding it

    release all of the three

press stop keep holding it while pressing >>

    release both

    press display

    Re: Beo1

Maybe that`s the trick: Remove batteries just to reset the Beo1. I remember I had to install batteries first, because my Beo1 was standing on a bookshelf for months without batteries....
